Now Hiring: Collision Appraiser/Estimator

Turnpike Collision Services is seeking a detail-driven, customer-focused Appraiser/Estimator to join our growing team. As a one-stop shop for fleets, specialty vehicles, and advanced ADAS repairs, we treat every job like a managed project—and our estimates are the blueprint.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on clarity, documentation, and collaboration. You’ll work alongside our technician teams, insurance partners, and fleet clients to produce defensible, transparent estimates that set the tone for successful repairs.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect vehicles and document damage with clarity and precision
• Build repair plans using CCC ONE or equivalent estimating software
• Use Shopmonkey to manage workflow, scheduling, and customer communication
• Reference OEM databases for repair procedures, safety parameters, and calibration requirements
• Oversee and document ADAS recalibrations for both passenger and commercial vehicles
• Collaborate with technicians using OEM scan tools and Autel platforms to verify system readiness and post-repair integrity
• Take payments, answer phone calls, respond to emails and text messages professionally
• Maintain a clear, organized schedule for appointments and repair timelines
• Work independently with confidence, and as part of a technician-driven team

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in collision estimating (CCC ONE, Mitchell, or Audatex)
• Familiarity with Shopmonkey or similar shop management platforms
• Ability to navigate OEM repair databases and apply procedures accurately
• Understanding of ADAS systems, scan tools, and recalibration workflows
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage time, multitask, and stay organized
• Professionalism, reliability, and a customer-first mindset
• Familiarity with fleet vehicles, vocational rigs, or specialty platforms a plus
• Must hold a Connecticut Physical Damage Appraiser License—or have the ability to obtain one
